Senators, The time is right to start determining what needs to be discussed and voted upon during this term. Here are my initial suggestions, let me know if you have any more: Supreme Court Whatever needs to occur from the fallout from the "impeachment" thread Creating a Deputy/Clerk for the Supreme Court, and what this would entail Vice Presidency Giving the Vice President something to do Potentially requiring the Senate to endorse the President's choice for VP? Housekeeping Forum required as a repository for official article of law threads, so they don't get lost.

Giving the Vice President something to do Not sure why that needs to be done. They have about as much to do as our own deputies do, which seems about right to me. Forum required as a repository for official article of law threads, so they don't get lost. I would suggest that this either be located in the SC forum, or that we simple sticky the voting threads for each law passed (the full text of each Law is presented in the first post of these threads) so that they are easily visible and it can be seen that they were, in fact, passed.

In regards to the SC Clerk position -- I would like to be involved in discussions to introduce such. As others have pointed out, the game has stalled twice now due to absences in the court and we should now more than ever, make sure to eliminate such possibilities of repeat scenarios. There's undoubtedly more which should be done, however, I'm really at loss towards specifics in the present (besides what's already been mentioned above). Thus, I propose we follow up with a previous suggestion I read, to centralize such ideas in one thread that pertained towards improvement of the Consitution and use the said thread as our think-tank.

I understand that I am not a senator, but the senate has always had an open door policy, and I'm afraid I snuck in again. Some of the ideas mentioned here were first proffered by me, so I'll briefly chime in. * Giving the Vice President something to do Perhaps there is no need to legislate this, but I believe sword was onto something when he said there should be a task force now to plan future city locations. The president may want to ask the VP to lead such task forces, if the VP doesn't start them on his own... * Potentially requiring the Senate to endorse the President's choice for VP? Mongoose continues to be an excellent president, but he is not president for life (hopefully). Many things can happen, and I believe it best that we install this one extra step to prevent a possible disaster later on (though disasters generate some pretty good cartoons). * Forum required as a repository for official article of law threads, so they don't get lost. I'll create a pinned thread in the SC in which I'll copy the actual articles of law. Um, as soon as I'm legally able to, of course.

The only problem with one thread is that it will eventually get long with articles of law. Would that be ok? Or would everyone prefer a specific board to put threads into? Well, I suppose that gets the ball rolling a bit, lets get through these tasks and see what comes up next?

Looking quickly at the Constitution, we would need to make this addition: II 6b: The President's choice of Vice-President must be endorsed through the Senate by means of quorum vote. It would be as simple as that. Do you guys find this acceptable to be put to the public vote?

I would also give him the tie-breaking vote in the Senate so that the Senate could be expanded to 4 seats.
