| There were 4 civs total. Wow, then the first civ must have died really early. On the first "ranking" screen, there was me and two unknown civs. Too bad the third rival didn't get smashed too, that would have been a massive score . The early game on large map with few civs and no raging barbs is pretty much a builder's game with little combat until Astronomy. It seemed to be all about city placement, city screen micromanagement, and smart use of slavery and workers to beat the AI with wonders as opposed to military manuevers. And we all know wonders= Great people = tech in this style game. Not a warmonger playstyle early game.. (nothing wrong with that.. all skills are good) It is good to know both sides... It was just so slow and I kept hitting the space bar that I probably missed out on that aspect. I just wish there was a civ somewhere I could smash early on. |
